Recommend boat launch on Erie Canal?

I would appreciate a recommendation on a launchsite for my planned trip to the Waterford area on the Erie Canal. I am in need of a worthwhile ramp to launch my 25' crusier and also a worthwhile parking area for my truck/trailer.
 
Dean, there is a launch in Waterford with a small parking area for trucks and trailers. For more long term, secure parking you might want to check with some of the local marinas. Van Schaick is the closest, about a mile south of Waterford . 518-237-2681.
