Hello, I am a new member. I just purchased property on the coast in georgia near the town of Darien. There is a small tidal creek running right past my property line which is about 8 feet wide and about 1 foot deep at low tide, about 6 feet deep at high tide. It leads out to the intracoastal waterway and ocean (a few miles away by water). The creek is too small for a dock, but I thought it might be nice to keep a small boat at the edge of the water to take my family boating. I have two small children. Can you recommend a boat type that has a shallow draft(including propulsion), capacity for 4, good speed to get out to the intracoastal waterway in a reasonable time and that can handle the moderate chop in the waterway? Is a zodiac boat a good choice? Thank You.
