I replaced my stock dash fuel gauge with an electronic fuel flow meter. I would like to reuse the stock gauge as a redundant instrument in a remote location since the fule flow meter doesn't use the gas tank float.
Would it be as simple as splicing into the fuel tanks' wiring leads for positive, ground, and sensor?
