I thought I'd share some pictures I posted in the HRCC forum showing a beautiful Regal on the hook and her surroundings.

Great photos, and a great-looking boat. My 5 year-old son wants us to trade in our 2400, which we've had less than 2 months, for a Flybridge Sedan. I think I showed him the Regal catalogue a few too many times :)

Thats one smart kid you have Charles!!!!! And great taste too!

Hi Rommer,

Great pictures and nice looking Regal, which I assume is your Regal right???
That looks like one for a Regal Brochure....

PS.. Rommer, my wife said:

"This looks nice. I like the color."

Yup, that's good ol Wake-N-Waves...

We really have a great time on her.

Did the cover on your front windscreen come from Regal like that or was that an add-on on your part? It really makes the look of the boat since it's a very close match to your hull color.

Joe

The cover is stock from Regal although it is faded and not all the same color anymore. Another nice thing about the cover is you can see out but not in. Might be a replacement project for next year.

The thruster is a really nice tool to have. Comes in handy at times. In really heavy winds I find myself NOT using it thou as my instincts take over and with one hand working the shifters and the other the throttles I don't have anything left to use the thruster joystick.

I agree with people like Pascal when he advocates learning without the thruster first and then adding it to your bag of tools. We've had one problem with it. The battery had a defect in the lead casting for the positive terminal, an air bubble prevented the screw post from making more than 50% contact. This caused the lead to actually melt and the connection fell off! You could clearly see how the current was flowing thru only part of the connection. A new battery and all is well.

Just thought I would try a bit of practice and make sure I remembered a/ passwords and b/ how to do it... so to compliment Rommer's pics...

Not too often we run with full canvas down. We are always amazed at how quiet it runs versus wind going thru the canvas... heading to our anchorage...

One thing that I didn't post on the Art of Rafting is that the real trick is to get someone else to put the hook in first and then you get to relax and wait....

Then all you have to do is to deploy the fenders...and prepare to raft up.

There I remembered...

Nice pictures Greg!

More times than not I'm elected, thou I didn't get a vote!, to drop the first anchor. I'm hoping that this weekend I can find some friends already on the hook as my Admiral is in China this weekend.

Anyone want to be a fill in Admiral? ;)

Hey Greg - have anymore pictures of your swim platform and the way the boat is mounted on the back?

Nice pics by the way...thanks

Hi Greg,

Thanks for posting the pics.. I always look forward to seeing your pics and reading your posts.. Glad to see you've still got the technique down..

Rommer, as for the Admiral opening you have available, I hate to say it, but I don't think I'm cute enough for that role!!! :)

Joe, that we know, you are from Cleveland after all[:-eyebrows][:-eyebrows][:-eyebrows]
