I noticed as I was replacing my waste lines a couple of small spots in the bottom of the holding tank. I opened up the holes and cleaned the bottom of the tank.
Instead of replacing the entire tank which appears to be in overall good condition I was thinking about coating the bottom with 3M 5200 followed by coat of West System. Or should I just JB weld the holes and then used the West System along with some fiberglass fabric and build up the bottom.
If I have to replace the tank I know I will need to cut it out. The real problem would be finding a tank that will slip in between the deck and the engine.
Would like to hear some thoughts on the matter.
Thanks - James
