My 37' 2005 *&%#&$(# has been diagnosed with severe water intrusion into the core of the two main stringers running fore and aft. The manufacturer has just told me that they plan to repair or replace, whichever has to be done and I will receive the vessel back from the factory in the spring.
The boat is for sale, worried about value loss -should this now be given to my attorney or another? Is the boat sell-able? Of course I will disclose to a buyer the entire story.
Second vessel from the manufacturer with the same problem - received 2005 for damaged 2002 last spring - +$25,000 out of pocket.
Any help would be appreciated. For obvious reasons I will not disclose the manufacturer.
