I have a 320 Voyager. The cockpit center hatch panel is in marginal condition. Can a replacement be bought? or Found?

My 28 Voyager had the same problem last year. Not being at all gifted in fiberglass fabrication I had to have one custom made. Hint; it wasn't cheap.

If you can find a "junk" boat and buy one good on you. But, try as I might, I couldn't find one anywhere that was any better than mine.

Good luck,

Bob

Typically it's just the coring that is bad. Whenever possible, it is more cost effective to have the coring replaced than the have a whole new hatch made. If the damage is more physical, you can find a "glass guy" and have that fixed as well. I am 99.9% sure that Carver has none of these hatches left or the mold to make you one.

Somewhere it was dropped. Broke the corners. I recored it and put it back together but it just is not looking too sporty! I recored it with marine ply and sealed it totally to avoid any moisture problems.
I just would like to have an original hatch.

Thanks again for the help!

If boatfix can't get it, you may want to try Kendor marine in Milwaukee. They generally buy other dealer's obsolete or bankrupt inventory etc. I was there yesterday and did see some hatches etc. laying around. May be worth a call...

No luck yet. Mine is solid, but not pretty as I would like.

I will keep looking.

Probably better to repair and then paint the entire cocpit.
