Hi,all! I used the boat yesterday, cruising the New River for 3 hours. When I got back to the dock, I connected the shorepower cord to the dock power outlet. I turned on the cabin outlets, with the electric fan on. Everything working normal. Usually, this is the only outlet using AC power on the boat. In fact, for the past 3 to 4 months, this outlet is the only one turned on using AC power. This evening, I went to the boat to get something, and the Reverse Polarity light is on. Nothing changed from yesterday to today, so why would the connection from the dock to the boat turn "Reverse Polarity"? I have 2 shorepower connections, so I tried hooking up to the 2nd inlet, still showed "Reverse Polarity". Tried hooking up to the house outlets, the same - Reverse Polarity. Tried a different shorepower cord. It definitely looks like something in the boat AC wiring is causing this condition. Can someone point me in the right direction to start checking? Thanks. By the way, the landscape lighting and the dock power are both wired to the same switch - so when I turn the landscape lights on, the power to the dock is on. Landscape lights off, dock power also off. Even with the "Reverse Polarity" condition in the boat, the landscape lights are on, no problem. What is happening? Thanks again for any and all suggestions.
