I'm sure the is a simple part I need to replace, but here's the issue. My SeaEra head has worked flawlessly for almost 10 years but suddenly it sometimes wont pull in sea water. I've checked the thru-hull and hoses, the in line water strainer, all good. Is there a simple impeller that needs replacement? Who stocks it? How do you change it?

Yeah, you minimally need a new impeller, but it's past time to give it an overhaul with new gaskets, seals, joker valve and such.

You can find the owners manual and exploded parts diagrams here...

You can also call Raritan and ask them what parts you need. Their customer service is pretty good. I just did my 1992 Crown head. Cost me about $70. to replace everything replaceable and it was a pretty easy job.

For anyone that may be interested, John was right, Raritan was very helpful. The parts needed were the intake pump repair kit, ($55.00) and a joker valve ($20.90) Total of $75.90

Been away the last couple weeks. Glad it worked out easily for you.
