I count 5 seacocks on our boat. I do not jump into the bilge before leaving the boat to turn these off. Perhaps I should. We turn off the head system pump and the fresh water system pump before we leave th boat. However, if one of these 5 open seacocks were to malfunction the boat could flood.
How cool would it be to be able to turn all the seacocks off with a breaker? Or better yet a seacock turns itself off when there is no pressure on it or when it 'knows' it does not need to be open.
I assume this has been addressed before and nixed for some reason?
