Season coming to an end:(

Still alot of stuff in the water, not small stuff either, went to fuel up and did under 10MPH there and back.

Slow and steady wins the race...

Idle speed to Bowline or Croton South this weekend.

I havent even put my little boat back into the water. My searay still has all the extra lines tied to it. Infact I was on the boat to start the motors for the 2nd time since Irene came thru.

I was going to put the small boat back in, but thats been put on hold. Ill be stuck in the office all day Saturday and Sunday..

The only thing I've used my little boat for since Irene was to drag a dead deer out of our marina...

Let me know where you wind up Hogan. We may head up stream for the weekend.

I'll let you know where we are, John.

A perfect day yesterday, rafted up with 9 other boats in Bowline, spent the night with 7. Woke up to another beautiful day!

I hope to go for a ride tomorrow then drop it off to be hauled.

Glad to hear you are making the most of the season. I'm already thinking in terms of next year.

Had a great time yesterday. Thanks for the cigar Mike. Don't worry, I'll be sneaking more behind Gayle's back. Was up at the marina today. There was more people there then in the middle of the summer. Unfortunately I had to leave to catch a flight. I'm betting we have some more good ones before the season ends.

Hank I missed you today I was surprised you weren't there, have a good trip see you when you get back.

Man, what a day. While we spent most of it prepping for the move, we got to sit on the dock at RYB for a while during the end of season bash. Wow. What a day!

Today (Sunday) was like Memorial Day weekend in October. Better than most recent of those summer starting days. Traffic on the creek was pretty constant in both directions the entire day - well, after 10AM, at least. There was a heavy fog where visibility was about 50 feet that took it's time lifting. Trains were blasting their air horns every few feet starting around 5AM. But we had clear blue skies, low humidity, 80 degrees at 3pm, light and variable breeze, bright near full moon rise, not many skeeters. Here's to the guy who thought he had discovered something (and was rewarded handsomely).

Had 16 boats on my anchor yesterday! It was anothter fantastic day. Stayed out overnight again with Caryl-D, 4 Ever Broke & Never Forget. Looks like today is another great one!

Thanks for a great time Hogan!

Had a beautiful ride back down river. Very calm and not much crap in the water. Can't wait for the next venison dinner video! ;)

Sorry I missed out I pulled the trigger a little early not expecting the great weather weekend. I'm heading up to go drop the boat off I'm done. Still have a couple of things to finish but for the most part I'm winterized.
