Just got the call that the baot is in the water ** my old marina, Castaway's, in New Rochelle. Going to bring her up to Haverstraw this afternoon. Looks like the rain is going to hold off so I have to take advantage....

Let the games begin.....

It's about time! What took you so long???

So did you bring her home Leigh? Couldn't find your boat on silver last night.

way to be positive Rob....

Well - When the mechanic wont return phone calls and the boat hasn't been touched, what is one to do.

I thought about getting a canvas bimini for the dink so I have a place to hang out.

Yes.. I actually got a better slip on Blue.. #39
Down the main dock, make a left on blue then 6 slips down on the right "on the pond".
I had gotten some inside info that the boat that was in that slip was sold so I contacted Crystal and played the" My wife is pregnant and can't be walking all the way out to Silver" card. Thankfully she understood and relocated us. I had to pay extra for a 40' slip but it is prime real estate that I will hold onto while I am at HM. Also, I will be able to move up in a few years and keep the slip, unless of course if I hit the lottery.

We left New Rochelle about 6:15PM and took the long way around the tip of Manhattan then up the Hudson. We encountered some debris down near the city but as we reached the GW it cleared up and we were able to run a cruising speed up until Croton point. We then took it easy due to the sun going down. We got into the slip around 9:00PM

Should be down at the marina on Sunday getting all set up and putting the dingy in the water..

John, Feel free to stop by for a beer or maybe I will take a dingy ride over to say hello.
