Shepards pie poppers at The Sea Gull boat friendly restaurant!

OMG, I hate going to restaurants, and they sounded awful, but The Sea Gull in Bergen Point serves Shepards pie poppers, and they are spectacular!

I was surprised, but they were pretty good! Brown gravy! Tired of hamburgers and the usual stuff... Maybe its my age but I am sick and tired of the same old same old! Was happy to find some decent thing different!

Still trying to figure out what they are. Did a search and it seems they are all over the place in how they are made. When I think ‘poppers’ I’m thinking stuffed peppers. Can you link to what they are?

I dunno, they were brown with brown gravy about 2.5 in in diameter and taste like shepards pie.....

So they were basically individual small shepherds pie. OK, that matches up with some of the things I found. Sounds good, I tend to lean towards more breading so I’m sure I would like them.
