Well folks, that's it. They came to tow AZAD away today. Donating it to charity, hopefully going to provide some money to a good cause.

I feel like I've lost a small piece of me. I spent a good bit of my childhood on that boat on Lake Hopatcong and my boys were sad to see her go. We had a lot of frustration and challenge with the old girl, but the fun, enjoyment and new friends outweighed all that.

I've enjoyed meeting each of you online and on the water. Fortunately, the Admiral really enjoyed boating and does want another one. When she goes back to work someday soon, hopefully we can go back to pouring money into the hole in the water (happily!!). I'll check back in once in a while and have a bit of stuff to sell - Garmin GPS Map 545 with NY waterway G2 vision card if anyone is interested.

See you all someday over the horizon . . .

Pat

Sad day indeed. Unfortunately we never met, but maybe one day we will.

Now go get your wide a copy of the help wanted section!

You'll be back out there -- and when you do, we'll share a beer. You're a good man, BigPat, even though we never met!
