This week flew by I have even had a chance to think about the weekend. Does anyone have big plans or is it the usual Croton and Bowline?

Ben how was you vacation? Will you be on the water tomorrow?

Virginia was great. Love boating on the Chesapeake. Clean water, warm, not a lot of traffic, lots of things to do on the water. Camping at Bethpage near Urbanna was like nothing we had ever seen. It's first class camping. They have their own boat launch and slips, a water park and tons of things for the kids.

We'll be on the water today but not sure what we're going to do since it's not likely to be very warm. Thinking of visiting Cold Springs.

Ben your boat is to big for the Cold Spring dock unless you plan to anchor and row in on your raft. You can probably fit the whole family on the sun raft you have. I guess there is always the option of the jet boat that would probably be the best option. I miss Cold Spring I used to go several times a year it was a regular stop.

Dave- We have the inflatable canoe. I'm hoping to drop off the girls, anchor and then Alex and I will row in.

Yeah, these 1.5 day workweeks are killing me!

We hope to spend the day in Bowline.

I at least but in 2.5 days.
sadly I'm not sure I we get away from the dock today but I'm here and sometimes that's good enough. This time of year is always a strugle with the kids school activities such as cheerleading practice. For the record I don't see how anyone calls that sport:)

We made it up to Cold Spring. Neat little town. Kinda sucks that they can't handle anything bigger than 30', but it was a good day regardless.

As I said I miss going there maybe I'll go by jetski soon. I think I saw you heading home yesterday. I never took the boat out yesterday but I did go for a short jetski ride and drove through Bowline it was a ghost town with maybe six boats. I followed a boat in that clearly had not been there before looked like it might have been a new boater no name on boat anyway they where heading right for the wall I had to chase him down and warn him just before impact. Of coarse he had no idea what I was trying to tell him or how important it was for him to move over but hopefully he understood and avoids it next time. Truth is I think he thought I was just some crazy guy on a jetski but he did move over and just missed the wall.
I'm hoping today is a better day then the news predicts I supposed to be taking my daughter and a few of her friends out.
