We actually asked eachother this last night at around 5:30. The weekend had been the typical 14 hour saturday of yard work, pool tuning, car drops offs and pickups, boat fixing, shopping, and helping adult children with rides to airports and apartment moves. Sunday was more of the same with the exception of taking an hour to get some excercise in the morning - we were tired, hungry....and done.
But, rather than succumb to the boob tube, the boat beconned, we packed burgers in a cooler with a few drinks, zipped back the eisenglass, fired her up and cruised to Boca Lake for a spectacular sunset, warm breeze, grilling and a swim. Somehwere in there we realized why we live here, why we own a boat, and that both being type A workoholic types, the boat forced us to do nothing, to look around, take in some nature, talk to eachother, and relax.
Don't ever ask if you should bother....just get off the couch, get out there and enjoy boating.
