Skipper Bud's Winthrop Harbor Ablaze

Skipper Bud's has a marina here in Madison, Wisconsin.. much the same setup as Winthrop Harbor.. drystack and mechanical service and a sales building... that's too bad, hopefully your boat wasn't affected..
 
I've seen better ways to drum up sales...I'M KIDDING!!!!!!!!
 
I always say "Total losses only, please. No partials!"
My boat is in their Zion location, two miles South of the Winthrop Harbor location. I don't know this, but am told it was a bldg. full of "smaller" boats.
 
WOW! Scary when it hits so close to home. My boat is in the back lot. A lot of boats in that building -- dry stack up to about 30 feet. Heard about a fire on the radio but they didn't say Skipper Buds. Unbelievable.
 
My boat is in the heated storage building next to the damaged one. I received an E-mail today from Skipper Bud's that no other facility received smoke or heat damage. I'm relieved but I feel bad for those who have lost their pride and joy.
