Snook experts?

Anyone know how far upstream into fresh water snook will travel? There's a river near home that has them but I doubt they'd come this far upstream (at least 3-4 miles from the ocean)

No help here. I've caught a few in trips to South Florida, but know little about them.

I know guys used to catch them pretty regularly in the Dania Cutoff Canal in South Florida, at least 4-5 miles inland.

They are caught several miles upstream in the Peace River in Charlotte/Desoto county in SWF. They are probably way up the Myakka too
