I am starting to see some "no ETA" and shipping dates 3 weeks into the future when ordering Yamaha parts online from a large OEM distributor in Florida as I work through an ignition system problem on my outboard. A lot of manufactures have gone to "just in time delivery" to eliminate the cost of parts depots which works fine as long as there are no disruptions in parts manufacturing or distribution. After hearing about GM shutting down a Chevy Colorado pickup truck in Lousiana I picked up a spare air filter and oil filter for my S10 they're WIX made in Mexico. Outboards haven't been that profitable in recent years so manufactures may triage when they restart operations and torque up production that supports cars and motorcycles since that is a larger market.

Just giving people a heads up in case you want to keep some of your own spares on your own garage shelf, there is no way I would have anticipated having a spare stator assembly so having a spare fuel pump, carborator, oil and fuel filters wouldn't have kept my motor operational.
