Spindrift Overnight POSTPONED

I'd like to suggest Sunday, January 14. The fifteenth is a holiday for many [Martin Luther King Holiday is the 15th.] I'll call them to see if they are going to be open that weekend and serving chicken & dumplings that night. I'll post back here.

An alternative date could be January 21st. Let me know your feedback. Anyone who reads this is welcome to join the group. Many of us chat frequently but have never met, so there will be no strangers!
 
I'm looking forward too! Flutter, are things still on for Sunday? Hey, if the chicken and dumplings aren't your thing, those Spindrift steaks are good. I had just a burger and fries on Saturday evening and that went great on a cold evening.

I regret to cancel on this event. It'sd my wife's birthday weekend and she has plans for me. Hopefully I can make the next one.

I believe so, but I haven't been there on a Sunday night before. From the menu it looks like it's the special for the evening. Saturday, I saw a flyer (taped up in the head) that said "Sunday: Chicken & Dumplings five (or was it three?) to ??? p.m." so it might pay to call them this week to check the hours. They may serve later than 8 (Sunday winter hours) with advance notice.
 
Well, folks, I don't think any of us like to hang out on our boats in 25*F air temp even if the water is 45*F! Too bad last weekend's weather didn't hang around longer.

I'm open to suggestions for a new date, but thought I'd put Feb 18 out there. It is also a three-day weekend since the 19th is President's Day. Let's see if there is enough interest.......

Thanks for the links! I really don't need to know the specifics. If the air temp at the boat is going to be colder than the normal air temp at my moutain home, I'm staying in front of the fireplace! Hope we have good weather for February.........
