Put Tenacity in yesterday. Beautiful day in Annapolis. 70 degrees. The Bay was flat. Saw one other boat on trip from Narrows to Podickory. Awesome.

Water is up, and flow is high (as we would expect). A lot of muddy water.

Here's to a great season.

I can't say "splashed" as she was in all winter. But yesterday after the NDZ hearing in Annapolis, we undied the lines and had a fantastic (read: flat) trip to Baltimore (Inner Harbor East Marina) for a couple of nights. This time of the year is wonderful to be out and about on the boat. Just don't fall in the 48 degree water. Speaking of which, as we were making our approach to the harbor, the tug traffic was getting pretty heavy. A sailboat with 3 people on board took a large wake abeam and a female fell out. We changed course and headed towards them with the life ring ready to be thrown, but she was in good shape and probably in her mid 20's and was able to re-board the boat under her own power. However, as my Admiral said: "after falling in THAT water I'd want to go directly to a doctor and get some antibiotics!"

What time was the MOB as I too brought a boat into Tidewater around 2PM yesterday afternoon. Lots of junk in the water and a bit of commercial traffic but nothing heavy when I was around. But there were a few sailboats criss crossing the channel near Key Bridge that did their best to aim right for me...

We splashed the dock this weekend. Now I just need to get the boat ready.
