What did/is everyone paying A THIRD PARTY for hull/topsides prep (cleaning/waxing) this year?

I just got my bill and it seems a tad high so I just want to get some perspective.

I'll let you know. I know it's gonna hurt..... A lot. More to follow.

About $9 for new wax; sore arms, and aching back.

$1100 for an OK job not having to break my back priceless!

I used Prestige (Victor) in AYC.
It was $600 below rub rail, that was 3 coats. 1 compound, 2 wax
Above rail was another $500.
So $1100 for 40'

My yard charges $25 per foot for complete detail hull and topside including cockpit. They did a decent job I could/would have done a better job but it would have taken it's toll on my back so I was happy to pay someone else to do the job. BTW they do not charge more or less for an express vs a fly bridge this surprised me a bit.

For a 47' Pilothouse it cost $1,200 for a light polish and wax above and below the waterline in Kingston NY a few years back.
Most years we do it ourselves for between $80-100 in supplies within two days or so.

$900.00 Hull and above rubrail 45' bridge boat. ($20.00 per foot)
