I have a 1993 Carver Aft Cabin 350. In the kitchen it has those slide up "garage" doors. Don't know what else to call them. They are very sticky and hard to lift. They appear to be in good working order and on the tracks. I assume the tracks need to be lubed. Any idea what to use?

Can't see how WD-40 could hurt. Buy the can with the spray tube on it for more precise spraying. Is there any way you could apply dish soap on the tracks? If so try applying with a Q-tip.

Maybe dish soap. I'm worried that any kind of oil would stain the wood. I can get to the tracks with a q-tip.

I'm sure the wood is sealed with varnich or lacquer. Can still protect with masking tape if concerned. Test the under side of desktop roll up door.
