The boss invited the crew and I to use his charter fishing boat one day here in Costa Rica when it wasn't booked with paying clients.

Today was the day.

We caught 2 sails and a striped marlin. This is video I shot of our stew catching her first ever marlin. Sorry about the quality. Must be a transfer issue because it's clear and sharp on a TV screen.

{As to where to stay, contact Marsha at grnscape(at)racsa(dot)co(dot)cr
She owns the El Gran Escape bar and restaurant in downtown Quepos. http://www.elgranescape.com/
Tell her I told you to contact her about a hotel. She can steer you straight. And you must stop in and have a drink and a bite at her place while you're there. The place is a bit of a landmark around here. There is also a small casino in town if you like that kind of thing. The sunsets have been amazing lately.}

Not a lot of traffic on the fishing forum so I thought it would be best to respond here instead of hijacking that other thread. Thanks for the info, will definitely try out El Gran Escape, looks like my kind of place. I did just book La Sirena Hotel, came recommended by our boats owner, looks OK to me. I would love to stop by Solstice 1 if it works out. My name is Chuck, my son Bryan, and my cousin and part owner of Top Notch Pat. I'll watch that video again to hold me over till I get there. Thanks again, Chuck
