Continuing with the low tide topic.
I've never really understood how tides work. I've read about it in the other forums trying to figure out their definitions. Never got the flood neap slack stuff (but never worked hard at it). I know how to look at a chart and figure the best times to approach certain inlets.
I also know Certain sustained winds will cause the tides to stay at a certain stage like we had last Sat. But most importantly I know that the tide comes in and then stays for a while then go's out and usually comes back in. Now these last few days are the exception It obviously hasn't come back in since Saturday nightI
So heres my stupid question. Wheres the water? The winds died down Sunday night. Are we expecting a Tsunami?
