i used peter joyce to do my boat. i believe he is based out of northwest bradenton which is just around the corner from palmetto.

since i have my boat docked right next to that galati office i have met many of kerry's/galati's customers....pretty much a very happy batch of people.

Thanks,..I'm very impressed with Kerry and Galati. They have been very open about some damage to the boat, here in Australia, I know of a past situation where a boat with significant damage was sold as a "new" boat with the repairs not being disclosed.

Also try Captain Mark Wallace, don't remember the name of his surveying business, but here's his cell number 727-433-0935. Very competent and a very nice guy, he was a wealth of knowledge and help to us!

I don't know, I think I'd want a full survey just to be sure there is /was full disclosure.
 
i agreee about the full survey.

there is a fellow on this board that also does surveys in our area. from everything i read he seems to have good credentials...hopefully he will chime in
 
Anyone ever hear of or use Tom Price. I believe he is from the east coast of FL. I also need a surveyor in the Palmetto area, Tom was recommended, but I don't know if he will travel to the left coast.

I have used ......Safeguard Marine Surveying ask for Mike Davenport, he is an accredited marine surveyor located in Sarasota. He will travel up to Palmetto. The first boat he did for me was in St. Pete, and I also used him on my recent new purchase. Very knowledgable and give s you a complete report. Phone # 941-366-0888.
