Hello, I was wondering if surveying a boat that has been out of the water for 2 years may hide possible moisture problems. The stringers are fiberglassed wood, Cored hull sides (divinacell sp?).
Any/all ideas are welcome.
Thanks!
Chris

Divinicell is a good thing. I soaked a piece in water for a week once and couldn't get it to suck up any water.

Chris, Anything is possible, but in most cases no. I would perform a fluid analysis on the engines just after sea-trial to ensure the corrosion factor in the cylinders and contamination from fuel, coolant and sea water are not a problem.

Thank you both for the informative info! I'll heed your advice.
Thanks!!
Chris
