Any recommendation on a boat mechanic to use in the South West Florida area (Naples/fort myers,marco island) would be highly appreciated. I have normally taken it to the other coast but this year I'm hoping to get it serviced locally. The boat is an 05 bayliner 244. merc engine with an alpha 1 drive.

I'm looking to have the gimble bearing replaced on a merc 220 hp alpha 1.

Oh, I thought you were looking for a single white female lesbian mechanic. Sorry, I don't know any mechanics in Florida.
 
I have used Brad's Mobile Marine Service in Cape Coral for several years before moving to Sarasota and he does really good work. You can call him at 239-826-1960.
