I have some windows on the boat that need re-caulking. What do you guys suggest?

Not exactly sure where you need to caulk, but I have sealed my windows with 100% silicon exterior window/door caulk from your local hardware store. I have found this better than the 3M stuff at the boat stores.

the bead along some of the outside is coming loose, need to put down another one

Clean out old caulk real well and go with good 100% silicon available and any hardware stores.

caulk most often doesn't work. Remove the windows and use a sealant.

There are two Sikaflex polyurethane sealants specifically for glass applications. No problems with silicon migration.

Check with a truck topper store for what they use to hold windows in truck shells.

It's not glass I'm caulking, but the alumunium frame holding the windows, mounted against the cabin

For sealing aluminium to: aluminium, fiberglass or wood: Sikaflex 295 UV. Silaflex 291 or 291 LOT, Boatlife Life Seal, 3M 101, 3M 4200, 3M Marine-Grade Silicon Sealant.
