Theres a link below for pictures, it sure makes it nice when you don't have to fight with your motor hatches. i simple alter them a little bit, added gas shocks and two brackets to each one and its so good. my email james.adamerb2rb2rb2@gr5tgr5tgr5tsbcglobal.net, if anyone has any question.

i do have so nice pictures to show you, if you would like to see them.[/URL[/URL[/URL[/URL[/URL

Just sent you an email, why didn't I think of doing that or why didn't Carver for that matter. I am always messing with those hatches and they could be dangerous not being secured.

Those two side hatches are REALLY heavy. And where do they expect you to put them while you're in the bilge? I usually put them up on the side deck against the arch. I fell once doing it, that hurt, but usually goes ok. I actually dread going into the bilges on these, but not nearly as much as most Sea Rays :-)

Captain Jim I would appreciate seeing pictures of your modification. My center hatch already has the assist cylinder but the hatches over each motor are sure challenging.

I could not make out your email address. Could you please send a couple of pics to me tmarsh (at) shaw.ca. Thanks Captain Jim

I too would like to see pictures of your changes. I usually set the side hatches on top the engines but they are sure heavy.

Hey Captain Jim, could you please post us a picture of where you modified and added hinges to your engine hatches.
Thanks

If you don't know how to post pics on here, we can learn ya real quick. Plus 7 on wanting to see the pics of what ya did. I would love to do the same thing on my Santego.

Did you use hinges on the back edge of the hatches? And which gas shocks did you use? We would also like to see the pictures, have a Mariner and would like to do the same. Cliffmassey3rb2@gr5tcs.com

For the uninitiated, the "at" sign will cause the boatered software to screw up any email address. You need to replace the "at" sign with the word "at". I would still like to see capt. jims pics if he checks back on this thread.

I was finally able to figure out Capt. Jim's e- mail address if you want to contact him for pictures. It is james.adame(at)sbcglobal.net

Hi Captain Jim...I would love to see your pictures and get the detail as well if possible.

Thank you,

uncle g

Would someone please post the pictures here on the board?
Thanks,
Bill
