Congrats but I have to say is this another "here we go again" in regards to the liquor license.

Hey John,

What do you mean...?

I don't think they will have a problem getting a liquor licence. I think it is just a matter of paper work.

The could not apply for the LL until they got the CO on the building and that was only a week and a half ago..

I am willing to bet that they will be fully operational by the July 4th. weekend.

I hope you're right Leigh but if you recall they kept promising a liquor license for the temporary restaurant and Tiki bar and it never happened.

Yes your right.. I think they couldn't get one then because there was no actual resturant/ building.

Kind of like setting up a tent and selling beer.

I don't think they are going have a problem getting it this time..

What is the website for the band? I would e interested in seeing the dates you are playing locally.

MJK

Actually a burger is $14. Fries (and sides are $5) So does that mean that you don't get fries with your burger? Wife and I ate there last Thursday, cheapies that we are, she had an arugla salad with apples and walnuts for $9 and I had a chicken ceasar salad for $13. Soft drinks are $3. A NY strip steak is $30.
The place is beautiful, the service was excellent, the food was good...but yes, they are a little pricey for sure.

At those prices I will continue to go to the Bricktown Brewery. I can drink there as well.

14 bucks a burger , too rich for me , gonna take the Govs advice and try the brewery if i'm eating in the area.

Jeez...you can anchor in the pond & feed a boatload of friends for $14.00 worth of ground beef. Too high for me too!! I'll stick with Babes.

Yes Judy but those friends have to brave the hazards to enjoy our company....

I ain't paying no $14 for a burger and $5 more for fries - that is outrageous! I'm with Butch, Bricktown Brewery is where I'll be. Not only are their burgers awesome, they will pick you up and drop you back off at your marina.

Come on now guys, don't you want to pay for the pleasant environment they provided?

I'd rather do the restaurant at Stony Point Bay -- great burgers and sandwiches for lunch! The admiral and I didn't know about Bricktown, though, especially the shuttle -- will have to give that a try!

The last I head is they got the license but they were waiting for the certificate to be mailed to them. Sort like "The check is in the mail"
