I have to say that so far the forecasts have been pretty good.. It s been blowing 20 to 30kts since sat / sun but all along passage weather and NOAA have been forecasting winds to come down this afternoon and tomorrow

Yesterday morning it was still close to 30kts here in MIA... Them around 20kts last night, 15 this morning and under 10 tonight!

But by tomorrow afternoon it's supposed to pick up again and remaining around 20kts into next week...

We have to be in Nassau by Saturday so I m not taking any chances and crossing early tomorrow. Will stay in Bimini for a couple of days to let the front pass then cross the bank Monday to the Berrys and onto Nassau tue or wed

We have charter guests arriving on Sat. Not taking any chances! It's kind of embarrassing if guests arrive and don't find the boat so I m using this window!

I hope the stream settles down overnight for you. That is a very skinny window indeed.

I predict the winds to increase and clock from the north as May approaches since we will be trying to cross then :-)

Looks like you made it. Nice picture on FB!

It was a narrow but very accurate window! Under 10kts wind this morning, 1 to 2 feet, great crossing! Left at 7am, took it slow at 9.5 kts and was tied up at sea Crest by 1pm

Marginal wifi though, sea crest APs arent working but $104 a night with power, can't complain! I found an un identified AP Thks to the Wave and external antenna

Wind is picking up to tonight, 12 to 15 already...

There are 2 new bigger buoys to mark the channel but after that it s the usual rrad the water and take it slow deal.. Couple of 8' spots along the way at low tide. :(

Will cross the bank on Monday...

Stay safe mon and bring a rag because it's looking snotty for a while.
