The family and I are OK but things are fugged up around here. I still have no power, internet or cable. I am tapped into my neighbors wireless router since his AT&T ISP came back online today.

I am running all the necessities aside from the AC unit on a 2000 watt generator. Gas and and supplies are scarce but seem to be improving. I have been able to find enough to get us by but I venture out everyday for a couple hours too see what I can scavenge. Some stores have been able to re-open on generator power and some of the power on the other side of town is back so hopefully soon I will be back on the grid. Rumors of power being restored in my area have been from end of this week to end of October.

My office in downtown Houston took a bad hit. 1st and 4th floor were heavily damaged. My suite is on the 3rd floor. Most people including myself have been told to stay home until otherwise notified.

There are curfews at night and they are being enforced. I am well armed. Been sleeping with the .40 on my side and the M4 is within reach. When I travel it goes in the back seat for the ride.

Everyday the power stays out people are growing more impatient and aggressive. Saw quite of few road rage scenarios from lack of traffic signals and common courtesy. It's every man for himself right now.

Good deal Chuck.

Glad to see the little Honda is keeping the beer cold!

Say hi to the ball and chain for me!

I thought the same thing about the Honda genny keeping your beer cold!

Hang in there, you can always come back here.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!! I think I just pissed myself....Leigh that is friggin gold!!! Cant breathe, LOL

Your safety as well as the families is the most important thing. Everything else can be replaced. Keep the beer cold and everything else will fall into place.

At least now that you have some access to the Inet, you can see what is going on. Satelite TV?

Not sure if we met at the raft up a few years ago, but hang in there, and good luck!
