May 3rd & 4th
Spaces are filling up fast.

Help Restore the Delta Build Its Army!

Are you worried about the $50 billion price tag for Jerry Brown's twin tunnels that your children and grandchildren will end up paying?

Are you worried that Northern California rivers will be sucked dry by the tunnels?

Are you worried that salmon fisheries will never be restored? And that the only salmon left for consumption will be farmed GMO salmon?

Are you worried that the tunnels will suck up all available public funding for water conservation, recycling, storm water, and ground water clean-up projects - the projects that will actually make more water for a growing population?

Are you worried that the boondoggle tunnels will be dry half of the time due to climate change?

Are you worried that there will not be enough water left in the Delta for farming?

Are you worried that the twin tunnels will destroy the economy and way-of-life for the five Delta counties?

Are you worried that the government will allow Delta levees to crumble so as to "free up" funding for the twin tunnels?

Then it's time for you to lift your eyes from the ground and prepare for the fight ahead!

At Restore the Delta's train the trainer event, we will train you on the facts - on how to make a community presentation - and on other essential tools for getting the word out to other concerned citizens like you.

If you're a concerned citizen, a fishermen, a business person, a Delta public official, a water policy wonk, a farmer, an environmentalist, a rotary club member, a church leader, a youth leader, an educator, a union representative, a boater, an artist, a chef who cares about local food production, a student, a stay-at-home-parent, then this event is for you.

This event is free, including a Delta tour, and meals. Scholarships are available for traveling. We will do our best to find free and/or discounted accommodations for all those attending.

Here is what we need from you - your time on May 3rd and May 4th. And for you to fill out and email back the following application by 3/31/13. But don't wait. Spaces are filling up fast.
