I am looking for a transom locker for my 97 355 Aft Cabin. I checked with a Carver dealer and they want $1,600 not including shipping for one by Carver. I looked at a couple of after market ones, but the aft of the Carver is curved and all the after market ones are straight leaving quite a gap. Does anyone know what the insurance companies do with similar Carvers that sink at the docks during southern storms? I would think someone would salvage these items and sell them?
