Just a reminder about the upcoming Tri State Boat Show at Rockland Community College. Hope to see some of you fellows there...

Oh, and please come and take some of my collection of upstate/canal travel literature off my hands, like last year. Perhaps some of you yacht club guys could take back a bag or box of stuff to put in your clubhouse...
 
Good luck Pete. We won't be making that one, but 'had a good discussion w/ your boss (at MM) at the NYC show about purchasing his inflatable . . . we're looking forward to adding it to our fleet (actually, this would make it a fleet, as we are a fleet of 1 right now!!) If we all could just get Hogan to uncover so we can get that manditory last snow, I could then move on this deal.

I be glad to take some canal literature back to CYC - but, as I am not an "Owner Member" (simlpy an "Associate Member" aka 'renter') it would not be appropriate for me to do so . . ..
 
As usual, we will be there having a cold beer and hot dog...
 
Not sure if I'm going this year, I was disappointed with it last year.

Not to worry, cover will be coming off soon, only a month to go before launch!
 
Only way I will be dissapointed is if they dont have my brand of beer...
 
Don't fret Butch, I'm sure they carry 'any brand' - - that is what you drink, isn't it?!?!??

For you speedboat enthusiasts out there - Charles just told me the Sunsation 43 is going to be at RCC this weekend! I don't know how he's gonna get it in the door, but it will be there nonetheless. Butch is ahead of me - HE's actually had a ride in a 43 down in Miami. One of these days, if I'm good, maybe he'll take me out too!!!

I'll post a picture of the one we are getting if I can get one - I think its the Factory Demo boat or something like that. Butch got to go in the cool one with all the heavy duty stuff...

Oh yeah - I could see my wife's reaction right now if I told her I was bringing THAT boat home. Eliot Spitzer would fare better than I would...

Sadly I wasn't on that boat yet, at least not in the water. If one of you buy it would you take me for a ride??? They're offering it for the "bargain" price of $499,000. Which is a steal by Sunsation standards, but still an awful lot of money for a toy. Then again, you could probably get "Kristen" to date you for a lot less than Spitzer did if you took her out in one of those [:-mischievous] ...
 
I hope some of you people are coming by to say "Hi" on Sat or Sunday!!!
 
Naw, they're not as nice as we are with the White Plains show...
 
Hi all! I just wanted to say thanks to ROs like Butch and Bill and their families who came by to say hello and break up the monotony a little bit at the Show...

It was pretty slow, but some boats got sold there. I think the boys from Pennybridge came out the best this time around...
