So today we took the bowrider out for some sun and fishing. We get out to the bay, on our way toward the Wantagh bridges and all of a sudden a raccoon comes out from the side of the boat! I thought I would die. It's kinda more scared than we are, gets on the bow, looks at the water and retreats back under the side. So we turn around, go back to our dock and take out the other boat for the afternoon. Now I don't know if the damn thing is still in the boat or not. It's not under any of the seats in the front and I can't figure out where it went to 'cause when I look at where it came from it doesn't seem like it would fit through there. I even hosed the boat out before but nothing ran out. I'm hoping, since it's noctournal, it will leave tonight but does anyone know how I would know for sure? My guess is that it's somewhere between the side and the hull. I figure if it got in it will find it's way out (at least I hope so!)
