Anybody knows the schedule of fireworks this year? Chesapeake Bay Magazine used to publish it in their June issue but I didn't see it this year. I am particularly interested in Northeast, Georgetown, Rock Hall and anything inbetween. Thanks in advance.

Have a look at the Coast Guard NTMs for region 5. They list the safety zone limits, dates and times for the over water displays and other events in the Bay.
The list of events, as is stands now, starts on page 35 of this PDF.

Check back for the updated NTMs each week.

Lanbuilder,

Thanks for the tip. I never considered using NTM's for local even info, but it the probably get notified first, at least for the bid events.

Here is the info on the excellent fireworks at Annapolis. You can navigate from this site to the other schedules of fireworks. Hope this
helps!

Does anyone know the dates for the Gibson Island & the Sherwood Forest fireworks. I can't seem to find either one of them.

Thanks,

Erle

The Inner Harbor show will be on the 4th at 9:30 pm. The rain date is the 5th at 9:30 pm.

Any suggestions for a good place to anchor to watch the Inner Harbor fireworks? The Harbor Master says they shut down the Inner Harbor several hours before the fireworks start. And they say that all the pier docking areas are claimed before noon. Anyone know how much of the Inner Harbor is closed?

I would like to arrive in the early evening (about 6 PM). I was considering anchoring just outside the Inner Harbor (just off Fort McHenry) or maybe just outside Anchorage Marina.

I was there about 8 years ago.
I'm at Tradewinds now. Really like the floating piers. I anchor across from Parkside when I feel like swimming. 280 Sundancer, "Cherie Amour"

Gredmer i hit that spot myself a lot. We have a group headed there this weekend for some fun. Parkside is just a dink ride away for breakfast! Where are the MR fireworks set off from?
