Im trying to help my neighbor in the marina fix his old mansfield vaccuflush 2 head system. You guys have made me an expert on my crowne system.The rear head will not flush. If you step on the pedal to open the valve nothing happens but the bowl keeps filling. I went to check the front head and it works fine. Plenty of vaccum. The thing i noticed is that the vacuum pump will not shut off. So i checked for leaks and found none as far as i could see. Sur nice working in a houseboat will plenty of room to move around. It act as if it is plugged.? The tank is almost empty so i know its not full. I tried to plunge and no luck. The small tank that treated the waste was removed years ago so it now just runs into the main holding tank. Any help as to where to start would be greatly appreciated. The skipper is 86 and still one of the best on the river just getting a little senile.
