Vacu Flush Head - pump not working

I've got a Vacu Flush system on Cruiser 340. All was well until this weekend. Specifically, the pump does not function. I checked the breaker and all was fine. I cycled the breaker - no joy. Grabbed the manual and took a look. Grabbed and used the multi meter to make sure I had power to the pump. I've got power. Manual says to use a jumper on the "B" terminal of the switch to jump. Did this and the pump functioned and created a vacuum. Flushed the toilet.

Question - is the switch user replaceable? Am I correct in thinking the switch is bad? Should I look elsewhere? I manually cycle the spring vacuum plunger, hear the switch click, but it did not fire the pump?

Any specifics would be appreciated.

you say you have power at the pump yet the pump doesn't run unless you jump the switch ? that deosn't make any sense. if you have voltage at the pump itself (the pump motor, not at the switch) then it has to be the pump.

if you can get the pump to run when bypassing/jumping the switch, then it's likely to be the switch. If you cycle the rid/plunger and hear a click but the pump doesn't start then the switch is defective. kinda rare, usually it's a the membrane in the tank that fails. I dont' know if you can replace jsut the swtich or if you have to replace the rod/membrane/switch. I had to replace the membrane on one of my 3 VF and the whole thing came as a set, but that was for the separate vac tank system, not the all in one unit.

it shoudln't be easy to replace, mine jsut unscrewed out. check the sea land website, they have manuals, etc...

if it's indeed the switch itself, save the membrane/rod in case that fails in the future
