We picked up a new line (Wohler). This is a German company and the primary product for us is their combustuion anaylzers for high efficiency heating equipment. However along with this we got a really cool camera for inspecting duct-work, pipes, wells, etc.
My first thought was geez now I can inspect the stringers on my boat. It's got a 65' cable (not that I'll need that much) with the camera on the end and the whole thing is contained ina small suitcase. Great German technology!
I'm thinking every boat surveyor should own one of these. They cost about $2,500 so that's a little bit large for the guys who are used to getting by with just a hammer and a two hunderd dollar moisture meter.
What do you think...should I start chasing down some surveyors, maybe some leading edge brokers?
