I finally have my Vetus bow thruster bolted back in place. The difficulty was the small access panel. Several of the bolts I cannot see. Only feel.
The problem all along was the thermal overload (thermistor) was open all the time. Just took awhile to narrow it down.
The small SS bracket that holds the thermistor is first in the stack then comes the brush wire. I think the picture Vetus sent me is wrong. I think one would always want the brush wire (drawing heavy current) to be first in the stack.
