Vic,
There's a post over on engines and plumbing from a guy who is bound and determined to replace his head with a household toilet.

For some reason, he won't ask his sanitation questions on the "Sanitation" forum.

Can you give him some advice as to why he shouldn't use a household toilet on his boat.

Edit,

He finally came over to this forum. Please read "Will this work on head"

I agree you can try Vic but I'm not sure you'll get through to him!

No, not Bob. And I think Bob knows enough about boats not to try that.

cwms you must be the eternal optimist!

I answered him over in the other Forum. We'll see what he has to say. But like everybody else has already said, if were practical for the HB builders to do it, they'd all be already doing it. Hell, you can buy household toilets, in quantity, for less than $100.00 apiece. Try getting an electric macerating marine toilet for anywhere near that price... I suspect that the price is probably his motivation.
