Got to the marina this morning and they were attempting to pump out (re-float) a Chaparral Villain III on red dock. Apparently the rain must have gotten the better of the bilge pump and even though the cockpit cover was on, just the bow was protruding from the water. They did get it pumped out to the point that it was re-floated and the work boat was able to tow it over to the service docks. I believe this model is from the late eighties or very early nineties. I think it's probably totaled now. Too bad.
