I need to replace my shift cable on my Volvo 290 outdrive and wanted to get some input on the procedure. Do I pull the old cable out through the the outdrive end or from the shifter? When I put the new cable in do I start at the shifter and than just push it through to the outdrive? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
