Okay, I would not say that I am completely ignorant to boats but explain this. I bought a CAMCO winterize kit and it says that you must buy an adapter for a Volvo because there is no impeller in the drive unit.
Can I still hook up muffs to the outdrive and start the motor out of the water?
If I can do that, why can't I just use the CAMCO drive just like I would for a Merc or OMC?
