I'm having a difficult time using the macerator pump to empty my waste holding tank on my year 2000, Glacier Bay 2640.
The head pump switch empties the bowl just fine. It's been a few weeks and there should be more than enough waste to be pumped overboard. (I know…10 miles from shore)
The Y valve is set to overboard, and when I push the macerator switch, the pump runs and I see bubbles exit the discharge thru-hull fitting but no waste or even dis-colored water.
It's almost time to winterize the system (boat is slipped) and I want the tank empty.
Thoughts or suggestions?
