This past weekend I discovered water in the under sink locker in the head. Not enough to pump, but enough to soak the carpet.
Then I noticed that the carpet in the aft cabin was also wet.
I surmise that it began under the sink, and flowed down to the aft cabin carpet.
My first suspect was the cockpit icemaker, because I had a leak in the water inlet and had to replace the cupling. But I'm just not sure water from behind the icemaker can make its way to the cabinet under the sink in the head.
There was on screw missing on the porthole window in the head, and the outside railing in that area needed to be re-bed. I took care of both of those suspects, and left fans running on the boat during the week. I hope when I get to the boat tomorrow that everything is bone dry, and stays that way. If not, has anyone else had problems with water under the sink? Any ideas on where else I should look.
BTW, the plumbing under the sink is dry.
