Wave Wifi Rogue vs. Aigean Link 2

So I got the rouge back and played with it tonight. Set it up on the kitchen table and direct to my laptop, was able to connect to my home GUEST network but could not connect on the main network. Multiple attempts to enter the passcode(WPA2-PSK) with full signal but woudl just not connect. The guest network does not require a password until the router connects and you enter the password on the splash screen(Linksys Router). THat worked and got okay speed 4-10 Mbps down and 2 - 6 Mbps up. I was also able to connect to an optimum hot spot with with 1-4 down and 0.5 - 4 up. I then took a Buffalo Wifi travel router that I had in a box (N300 portable) and connected that tot the Rouge for a wireless set up to the laptop which also had encryption and the Rouge was able to connect. I m at a loss, not sure why the Linksys router will not connect to the rouge.
 
I played with mine.
Swapped router no change.
Swapped all cables no change.
I did notice the adapter on the Poe is 12v when Poe says it needs 24v but not sure that is issue
Also noticed that the marina wifi signal that I connect too is super strong outside boat but as soon as I get inside boat it drastically drops off though it is still stronger in the boat connected dire txt than thru the rogue.

I forgot to see what model I have. I am going to swap my rogue with Walters to see if it's the rogue.
If it's not the rogue, router, cables then I think my boat is freaking faraday cage.
 
I spoke with the co-fonder at Aigean networks, really nice guy to speak with and was very helpful. I decided to give his product a shot, shoudl have it Wednesday - if my problem persists I can send it back. Will let you know how it goes next week.
 
Ok looked it up. It's the same thing.
These are all bullet m2hp devices.
I would just get a bullet and for $75.
 
That's exactly why I never bought the Rogue.
