Thanks for all of the input. If I look at the boat I'll let you know what I find, but regardless the info on Diesels is very helpful.
My first and current boat is twin small block gas engines. I realized early on that diesel engines are much more suited to marine use than gas and resolved that If I ever get another boat it would be diesel. I have taken my current boat often to Block and Cuttyhunk and the Vineyard and am very familier with how crappy RI and BI sound can get. I just think its funny that the broker is probably wrong about the engines. I know I shouldn't be surprised but she was pretty adamant in her email, even when I wrote that she was probably wrong. You would think she might have double checked at least before writing back.
